THE BREAKDOWN:

There's this red vertical box across the chest, and on top of that there's this silver graphic layer of texture, and then the word "Sacrifice" squished together with a little cross next to it in place of the trademark symbol.

Here's the thing—everyone sacrifices. Moms sacrifice for their kids, brothers for their siblings, girlfriends for boyfriends, husbands for wives. Sacrifice is always happening. But this sacrifice is talking about something more, and it's unlocked by that little cross next to the word. It frames everything—this is about the ultimate sacrifice, the sacrifice none of us could take. We can't take on the sins of others, but Jesus Christ took on ours. He sacrificed his life, defeated death, rose again for us so that we could be restored to relationship with the Father, so that we could have eternal life in heaven worshipping Jesus for all our days.

But there's more to this image. That silver graphic texture underneath? It's hundreds of crosses stacked together, warped together, and it represents two things. One, it's us daily dying to ourselves, every day picking up our cross and following in the footsteps of our Lord and Savior. Two, it's the body of Christ, the bride of Christ, our brothers and sisters who have also died to themselves and picked up their cross. We all sacrifice. We all follow the example of the ultimate sacrifice, and that makes us stronger together so that we can glorify our God in the ways that we live.

The red—that's the blood, the death, the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus laying down his life.

You're met with this beautiful 360 of an image, but you actually need to unpack it. You could wear this and people would see "Sacrifice," they'd see the crosses, they'd see it all, but they wouldn't understand it unless they start to look. It's almost this beautiful picture of a parable—they hear but they do not understand, they see but they do not know. This is a great talking piece, a great identity piece to identify with our Lord and Savior, to daily pick up our cross as a reminder. How great is our God?
